GlioStem: A novel technology for near-instant detection of live cells
GlioStem is a new product designed for nearly instant detection of neural stem cells and progenitors derived from glioma. It is based on polymer technology and defines a new generation of cell type markers.
GlioStem is a new conductive polymer (luminescent conductive oligothiophene, LCO) that illuminates in and thereby specifically detects embryonic mammalian neural stem cells and stem cell-like cells isolated from gliomas by conventional fluorescent microscopy and fluorescence-assisted cell sorting (FACS).
An early batch of GlioStem can be ordered for basic research purpose only here.
