Shirin is the CEO and co-founder of Celluminova. She holds a Master of Science in biomedicine and a PhD in neuroscience with focus on stem cell biology. She did her postdoctoral studies at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) where she studied cancer stem cells in malignant brain tumors and has experience from working in the pharmaceutical industry.
Anne-Christine (Anki) Nilsson

Anki holds a Master of Science in Biology and a PhD in Clinical Chemistry and brings over a decade of experience in senior management roles within the life science sector. Her extensive expertise in pre-clinical research, diagnostics, patent portfolios, and business development is instrumental to Celluminova’s strategic growth.
Marcus Bäck
Chief Technology Officer
Marcus holds a Master of Science in chemistry and a PhD in organic chemistry, with focus on medicinal chemistry. He has over 10 years of experience within the development of luminescent ligands for detection and characterization of disease associated cell types and protein aggregates.
Cassandra Stens
Market Development Lead
Cassandra holds a Master of Science in Chemical Biology and Engineering from Linköping University. Her focus is on market strategy, market access, health economics, reimbursement, and regulatory intelligence.
